Stockyard Beef has proudly secured three medals including gold for its kiwami by Stockyard product at the Sydney Fine Food Show. With a total score of 94.17, nearly two full points ahead of the next brand, kiwami secured the highest points for the competition, outperforming 30 other grain-fed beef products.

Boasting marble scores of 9 plus, kiwami by Stockyard provides diners with the most decadent eating experience. These cattle are derived from industry-leading Wagyu genetics and fed a nutritionally designed, all-natural grain ration at Stockyard’s Kerwee Feedlot on the Darling Downs in Queensland.

“Stockyard’s enduring success in awards and consistent eating quality is due in part to our focus on genetics.  Whether through investing in our breeding herd or collaborating with top producers, in this case long-standing producers in the Christiansen Family from west of Roma in QLD, who provide high-performing genetics and align with Stockyard’s commitment to sustainable beef production.”

“The competition for these awards grows fiercer each year, as evidenced by the number of entries in 2024 and the rising standards among Australian brands,” said Stockyard’s CEO, Lisa Sharp. ‘Winning three awards makes the achievement even more gratifying.’”

Stockyard also secured a silver medal for Stockyard Black, our Wagyu marble score 8-9 product. While, Stockyard Gold, our 200 day long fed product won a bronze.

Champion awards for the competition are announced in late September.

These awards take Stockyard’s medals in this competition to 15 since they restarted in 2021. Last year, Stockyard was named finalist in the prestigious Royal Agricultural Society President’s Medal, which assesses excellence in product and across environmental, social and governance practices.
