Stockyard was the proud recipient of a gold medal in the first AWA Wagyu Branded Beef Competition held October 2012. The Competition was undertaken under strict protocols and stewardship of MSA where each piece was assessed by a panel consisting of 6 highly respected beef judges.
The Wagyu Branded Beef was judged for visual assessment; as well as tenderness, juiciness, flavour and overall liking. The competition’s Chief Judge, Russell Smith informed the audience “This was a superb line up of Australia’s leading brands who market wagyu infused beef throughout the world.” Australian Wagyu Association Gold
